As Director of Creative Development at Bon Appétit and Epicurious, I work on a development team creating new series from scratch to publish, while also maintaining standards for ongoing series. I own the entire creative process from brainstorm, outlining, casting, field production, and post-production.

You Can’t Make This At Home | Pilot

–Developed and directed

A restaurant cooking series for audience curiosities on process and technique, showcasing the advantages that restaurant kitchens play in cooking dishes with precision and consistency.

The pilot, shot with Chef Jae Lee at his restaurant Nowon, answers the question of why a cheeseburger tends to be better in a restaurant than when made at home.


On The Line | Series

A core audience obsession of the inner workings and mechanics of restaurant cooks. Profiling a restaurant chef for a full shift, learning their about philosophy, techniques, and what makes them great.


The Pass | Series

An ambitious series using number GoPro cameras to record literally everything that happens during service at a restaurant.


Culinary Schooled | Pilot

Celebrities are great artists, but can they cook? We put them through a series of culinary challenges to fine out.

Taste Of The Town | Pilot

–Developed, shot, & directed

A travel series to broadens Bon Appétit’s national presence through an authoritative voice, exhaustive research, and the audience’s desire for restaurant guidance and depth of information. 

Episodes traveled to a US city famous for a specific cuisine as the restaurant editor tirelessly tried as many options as possible to crown one the best in the city.
